Each cutting board is oiled multiple times with food safe Cutting Board Oil and finished with Butcher Block Conditioner. Each board ships with a bottle of conditioner to maintain the board for many years of use. Easily cared for by hand washing in dish soap and water. Cutting boards are not dishwasher safe.
